Our Facilities

You will be offered a unique accommodation experience when you stay at the Bay Motel. Our location, tourism services and facilities will ensure everyone has the best possible time.

Rooms

The 20 Motel rooms have been recently refurbished and the result is a comfortable, clean and relaxed environment.

Each room is air conditioned and has its own bathroom, bar fridge, toaster and kettle. In addition, the family room has a spa and microwave.

Rooms also contain a variety of tables, chairs and lounges, giving you a spacious, comfortable and quiet environment to enjoy your stay.

All rooms include complimentary in-room television, with the deluxe rooms boasting free Fox Sports and SKY Channel. Other features include:

Direct dial telephones with itemised bills available to guests upon departure.

Room layouts

Standard doubles (8 rooms available)
These rooms have a queen size bed and a single bed.
Deluxe doubles (8 rooms available)
These rooms have a queen size bed and a pull out double sofa lounge, plus table and chairs.
Standard triple rooms (2 rooms available)
These rooms have a queen size bed and two single beds.
Family room (1 room available)
This room has a queen size bed and a pull out sofa bed, plus a set of double bunks. This room also has a spa.
Executive room (1 room available)
This room has a queen size bed, pull out sofa and a spa.

N.B. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster. Room 17 has wheelchair access to the bathroom. Rooms 11 - 15 have FOXSport 1&2 available.

Reception Hours: Reception is open from 8:30am to 11:00pm daily.

Motel Accounts: Accommodation is payable by cash or credit card on check out. Upon arrangement with reception, credit card accounts may also be extended to the bar and restaurant.

The Bay Hotel: Please feel free to utilise all the award winning Bay Hotel facilities during your stay. We have full TAB facilities, FOX and Sky Channels, Darts, Pool room, Beer garden with 'cook your own' facilities, children's playground, drive thru bottle shop, exclusive 'Red Room' for the wine lovers, and the Boatshed restaurant.

Children are welcome in the Bistro, Beer Garden and playground areas, under adult supervision.

What else?

Check our current Promotional Package, or ask us about a tour of the Hunter Valley, Historic Cooranbong or Lake Macquarie. Wine tasting has never been so easy!

After your tour, take a relaxing dip in our shaded swimming pool, play a game of tennis on one of our twin courts, or have a quiet drink while the children play in our brand new playground.

Guests may wish to play pool or darts, enjoy the TAB facilities or simply relax in front of one of the 28 televisions scattered around the Hotel.

The Bay Shopping Village is situated adjacent to the Hotel, offering a variety of services including:

The Hotel has an excellent bistro/restaurant, serving lunch and dinner seven days a week. A continental breakfast, including your choice of newspaper, is available at a reasonable price.

Prefer to cook your own? We have barbeques available in the Beer Garden and near the tennis courts.
