Tour Itineraries
Wondering what you can do while you're staying in the Bay Motel?
We've planned an example itinerary for a three day stay. We will happily organise any tour bookings for you, just ask at reception or email us before you arrive.
Day one
- 10.00am: Check-in to Bay Hotel Motel
- 11.00am: Winery bus tour of the Hunter Valley Vineyards
- Lunch in the Hunter Valley
- 4:00pm: Return to the Bay Hotel
- 4:30pm: Enjoy a game of tennis and a swim in the saltwater pool
- 6:30pm: Dinner in the Boatshed Restaurant/Beer garden
- Enjoy the entertainment at the Bay Hotel
Day Two
- 8:00am: Enjoy breakfast in your room or dine out in the Alfresco dining area in the Bay Shopping Centre
- 9:00am: Explore the Watagan mountains (bushwalking, rainforests, waterfalls, great views of the area)
- Picnic lunch
- 2:00pm: Relax on the beach or have a game of golf
- 6:00pm: Dinner in the Boatshed Restaurant or try Aunty
Molly's Bakehouse for a night of theatre restaurant entertainment
- Enjoy the entertainment at the Bay Hotel
Day Three
- 8:00am: Enjoy breakfast in your room or dine out in the Alfresco dining area in the Bay Shopping Centre
- 9:00am: Enjoy a Lake Fishing Charter or Lake Cruise
- 1:00pm: Relax in the beer garden and cook your own barbeque (while the kids enjoy the brand new children's playground)
- 3:00pm: Explore the area - go antique shopping, grab a bargain at the Mega Market or simply take a stroll by the lake.
This is just a sample itinerary. There are many other activities for you to enjoy during your stay, including: horse riding, windsurfing, sailing, shopping, visiting historic Newcastle, jetskiing, or simply taking advantage of the fantastic Bay Hotel facilities.
